TEAM ATHLETIC BUSINESS OVERVIEW:
This is a highly competitive marketplace with many long-time team dealers. There are many long time
relationships and loyalties to overcome, but just as many fresh opportunities come along with each
new open door and season. Many secondary sports are overlooked by the old school operations
(volleyball, cheerleading, band, etc.). Many coaches are hungry for dealers to service them. Our
challenge is to find and / or create opportunity and service them, service them, service them! WORLD
CLASS TEAM SPORTS also offers many creative programs with higher service levels than other

BUSINESS / CORPORATE OPPORTUNITY:

SALES REPRESENTATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
This opportunity is designed for positive, upbeat people that conduct themselves with honesty and
integrity. We do not hard sell! We like people that will be aggressive in contacting potential customers,
but accommodating and laid back in their approach.
This position is commission only, based on sales. No draws or salaries are paid. Sales Reps are paid
based on sales that they make, at the first of each month. We are looking for good people, that want to
make extra money, and have the time and the ambition to do so. There are no required hours that we
expect, and no minimum sales requirements. We do expect that while representing WORLD CLASS
TEAM SPORTS, Sales Reps will conduct themselves in a way that reflects positively on our company.
To be successful as a WORLD CLASS TEAM SPORTS Sales Rep, you will need to be positive, upbeat,
enjoy talking to a lot of people, and not be afraid of rejection. You must have the time, willingness and
energy to talk to as many people as possible, to present our programs and company.
Part time is fine, full time is great too... please remember, you are paid only on sales that you make.
EXCLUSIVE SALES TERRITORIES:
Exclusive sales territories are available as long as there are consistent sales generated in that
territory. Our philosophy is that it is better to maximize a smaller territory, than to have minimum
sales penetration in a larger sales territory. Therefore, sales territory is up for negotiation, and can be
changed according to sales generated.

* Sports Camps - coaches with summer camp programs, local YMCA programs.
* Parks & Recreation Departments:
Sports programs - equipment, uniforms and tee shirts
Summer activity apparel programs
* Municipalities: work shirts for staff, parks and maintenance departments.
* Corporations and businesses: staff shirts, jackets, hats, pens and accessories.
COMMISSIONS AND EXPENSES:
Commissions range from 8% - 12% on sales, based on the profit margin items are sold at. Average
commissions are 10% on sales. Commissions are paid at the first of each month, on all PAID orders.
So... $50K in sales in a year should bring you an extra $5K in commissions, $100K in sales = $10K in
commissions and so on. Obviously... the more time you have to put into the job, the more sales and
commissions you will generate for yourself.
All basic supplies will be provided to you at no cost and include: order forms, lettering forms, business
cards, email address, catalogs and a basic sample kit. All items that are unused are expected to be
returned at your cost, if you are no longer representing WORLD CLASS TEAM SPORTS.
Basic expenses to run your business will be the responsibility of the Sales Rep (i.e. gas for auto, office
needs for home, phone, etc.). There is no mileage reimbursement from WORLD CLASS TEAM SPORTS
(another reason to keep territories smaller). Many items such as car mileage and maintenance, office
space at home, phone bills, etc. are tax deductible. Please talk to you accountant to get exact
information on what is deductible and what is not.
SALES EXPECTATIONS:
Again, there are no sales expectations, or quotas to do this job. THERE WILL BE NO PRESSURE TO
SELL. But make no mistake, we are looking for good people that want to do this job, that want to
make extra money, that will commit to working. Lack of sales could affect sales territories and may
result in termination of the relationship. We know that the opportunity is out there to bring in sales... if

TRAINING:
Our main focus is on selling apparel. Basic training can be done in two six hour sessions. This will be
done at our store location. A general overview of uniforms and equipment will also be done at this
time. We also have set programs that require no training at all. Just show the program at the set
pricing and it is done... hopefully with a sale! From time to time, we may have one day mini training
sessions to give Sales Reps updates. Once basic lettering and pricing information is obtained... you will
be off and running!
